751lrgQuesti apparati purtroppo presentano un problema non da poco, ovvero dopo un po di anni la loro batteria tampone interna si scarica ed improvvisamente troviamo la nostra radio senza software e non più utilizzabile. 

Per ovviare a questo problema ci sono diverse soluzione, la prima è quella di sostituire regolarmente la batteria tampone.

ic-271-1Nei primi anni 1980 Icom l’America commercializzato un gruppo di ricetrasmettitori e radio che utilizzavano l’ultima tecnologia state-of-the-art computer per migliorare il funzionamento delle radio. Questo miglioramento tecnologia ha permesso ai radioamatori di permettersi un ricetrasmettitore ad alte prestazioni a prezzi ragionevoli, che fino ad allora era disponibile solo su unità che costano molto di più. Caratteristiche ora disponibile per i i radioamatori: maggiore stabilità di frequenza, una migliore risoluzione in frequenza, visualizzazione della frequenza digitale richiamo quasi istantanea delle frequenze salvate (canali di memoria), l’elaborazione del segnale in modalità rapida e costruiti in toni e compensazioni per il funzionamento del ripetitore emergente.

L’attuazione di tutte queste caratteristiche richiede una CPU con circuiteria logica associata. Nei primi anni ’80, il modo più efficace per implementare l’elaborazione dei dati e funzioni di memoria era attraverso una DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) per il controllo della CPU. Questa DRAM era un ricordo circuito integrato volatile, che ha richiesto una batteria al litio per conservare il suo set di istruzioni. I seguenti ricevitori e ricetrasmettitori avevano tali unità RAM:

IC-271; IC-471; IC-1271; IC-745; IC-751 / A; IC-R71A

Le batterie al litio in queste unità di solito è durato circa 5 a 7 anni prima era necessaria la sostituzione. Questo è stato specificamente osservato in ciascuno dei manuali Proprietari per i prodotti.

La batteria al litio può essere sostituita dal proprietario radio, se si utilizza cura. La seguente è una procedura consigliata per ottenere questo risultato:

Procedura

  1. Scollegare il cavo di alimentazione dalla radio, e togliere il coperchio.
  2. Scollegare la scheda RAM e rimuoverlo dalla radio.
  3. Temporaneamente saldare una fonte di batteria di CC da 3 Volt attraverso i terminali della batteria esistenti (vedi punti di connessione suggeriti sulle immagini del circuito).
  4. Dissaldare la vecchia batteria al litio e sostituirla con una nuova. (BR2325 1HC, numero 945 03112 ICOM magazzino)
  5. Dissaldare la tua temporanea 3 fonte Volt DC.
  6. Reinstallare la scheda RAM nel radio.

Avvertenze

  1. Non utilizzare un alimentazione AC 3 Volt DC fonte, la punta del saldatore a massa potrebbe andare in corto la batteria del terminale (+). Utilizzare una batteria da 3 Volt CC fonte solo (2 pile alcaline, per esempio).
  2. Non saldare i fili DC esterni direttamente ai pad scheda batteria al litio. In tal caso, non sarà possibile dissaldare la batteria senza avere i fili drop off.
  3. Se per caso si perde l’alimentazione all’unità RAM deve essere inviata a Icom in America per la riprogrammazione.
  4. Fare attenzione a non danneggiare o piegare i pin del connettore sul lato della radio durante la rimozione o la reinstallazione della scheda RAM.

Ci sono due versioni di schede ICOM RAM. Entrambi sono identici in funzione, e sono intercambiabili. Le differenze sono solo nelle layout del circuito. Si noti che i fili nero e rosso visibili su queste immagini sono il modo suggerito di collegare la tensione di CC del sostegno esterno mentre la batteria è stata sostituita. I fili non sono una parte della scheda RAM, e devono essere rimossi quando la procedura di sostituzione delle batterie. Fare riferimento alla procedura di sostituzione sopra descritta.
